The new SpaceX Extravehicular Activity Suit (EVA) will be used by the Polaris Dawn crew about 700 kilometers above Earth for the first-ever commercial astronaut spacewalk.
These suits, an upgrade from the older IVA suits, offer better movement, a high-tech helmet with a Heads-Up Display (HUD) and camera, and improved thermal management thanks to new materials inspired by Falcon’s interstage and Dragon‘s trunk.
