Honda is building a $124 million advanced wind tunnel facility in Ohio.
The new Honda wind tunnel, expected to begin construction this summer, will be able to produce wind speeds of 192 miles per hour.
According to a report, it will allow the automaker to develop more fuel-efficient vehicles.
Frank Paluch, president of Honda R&D Americas Inc., said:
“This new facility will further enhance our ability to efficiently create products of the highest quality for our customers. It will be integral to our aerodynamic and aeroacoustic R&D activity.”
