Elon Musk’s Hyperloop that could transport people from LA to San Francisco in 30 minutes, could be free at off-peak times.
Hyperloop revolutionary mode of transport, unveiled by SpaceX and Tesla chief executive Elon Musk in 2013.
Now Hyperloop Technologies is building the first test track in California.
And it said the finished line could be free at off-peak times.
Dirk Ahlborn, CEO of the company running the project, said that Hyperloop “might be free to the passenger”.
He added: “We want to make it something you use every single day many times. Ticketing is best way of monetising, or are there other ways to make money?”.
