LG Electronics (LG) has developed a smart home AI agent that uses cutting-edge robotic, AI, and multi-modal technologies. This intelligent companion can move around independently, learn, understand complex conversations, and even express emotions through its articulated leg joints.
Serving as an all-in-one home manager and companion, LG’s smart life solution aims to improve users’ daily lives, aligning with the company’s vision of a “Zero Labor Home.”
The AI agent’s innovative ‘two-legged’ wheel design allows it to navigate homes autonomously. Utilizing multi-modal AI technology, which combines voice and image recognition with natural language processing, the smart home AI agent can grasp context, understand intentions, and actively engage in conversations with users.
LG’s collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. has further enhanced the AI agent’s capabilities. Equipped with the Qualcomm Robotics RB5 Platform, it boasts powerful on-device AI features, including face and user recognition, making it a versatile and efficient addition to modern smart homes.
