A Japanese satellite is ready to launch fake shooting stars to illuminate the night sky.
Astro Live Experiences is ready to send ‘Shooting-Star’ satellite, to create an artificial meteor shower.
According to Japanese company ALE (Astro Live Experiences) Rocket Lab’s Electron rocket will launch the satellite on Nov. 25.
ALE CEO Lena Okajima said:
“With this launch, we are a step closer to realiz[ing] the man-made shooting star. Please look forward to the world’s first demonstration we are aiming [for] in 2020, which will be a major milestone for ALE.”
