SpaceX Starship 10 test flight launched on August 26, 2025, from Starbase, Texas. The mission met all major goals, advancing the development of the giant world’s first fully reusable rocket.
Launch & Separation:
Super Heavy lifted off with all 33 Raptor engines, performed hot-staging, and separated successfully.
Booster Return:
Super Heavy executed its boostback, landing burn, and hovered before a controlled splashdown in the Gulf.
Starship Flight:
The upper stage reached its planned trajectory, deployed eight Starlink simulators, and relit a Raptor engine in space.
Reentry & Landing:
Starship tested its heatshield and control flaps during reentry, then flipped, landed with a burn, and made a soft splashdown in the Indian Ocean.
The test pushed vehicle limits, gathered crucial data, and marked a major milestone toward full reusability.
