Steamer 888 88m Art-Deco inspired superyacht concept, with a streamlined design of the thirties.
Creative director of the studio Coquine Design Christian Leyk, says ‘The exterior is a mix between the New York Central Hudson steam train, the Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation jet, and a polished Dualit toaster.’
Christian Leyk explained:
“Steamer 888 picks up on the Art-Deco vibes and the streamlined design of the thirties, with a strong influence from nautical themes.”
“We might be biased, but we think she turned out rather sexy. Something featuring polished aluminum and rivets and a repurposed aircraft engine.”
