CEO Elon Musk said Tesla cars will soon come with the ability to stream Netflix and YouTube.
Netflix and YouTube will be integrated with the cars, but the “streaming services will only be able to work if the car is fully stopped.”
In the near future those features will work while in “autopilot mode.”
Elon Musk explained:
“Ability to stream Youtube and Netflix when car is stopped coming to your Tesla soon. Has an amazingly immersive, cinematic feel due to the comfy seats and surround sound audio. When full self-driving is approved by regulators, we will enable video while moving.”
