A German female engineer has made history as the first wheelchair user to travel to space.

Blue Origin successfully flew its 37th New Shepard mission and 16th crewed flight from Launch Site One in West Texas.

The crew members were Michaela Benthaus, Joey Hyde, Hans Koenigsmann, Neal Milch, Adonis Pouroulis, and Jason Stansell. So far, New Shepard has taken 92 people—86 of them unique individuals—into space.
