This is the first luxury sedan from BMW to use the Neue Klasse platform and design style, which will be applied to its upcoming electric models.

On the outside, it may look similar to the previous version, but many details have changed. The front lighting has been redesigned, combining the main and dipped beams into one unit, which allows for a larger front bumper. The grille and bonnet have also been updated. The two-tone paint option remains, now with more color choices. There are new alloy wheels, and at the rear, it gets a redesigned boot lid, tail lights, and bumper.
Inside, some elements are inspired by the iX3, including a new Panoramic iVision infotainment display and the same steering wheel design. The cabin features premium soft-touch materials throughout, and for the first time in a BMW, there’s a dedicated screen for the front passenger.

Engine options include 3.0-liter inline-six petrol and diesel units, plus a plug-in hybrid version with over 600 hp. An all-electric i7 with around 680 hp is also expected, along with possible rumors of a V8 variant.
