Donut Labs’ solid-state battery shown at CES 2026 drew doubt because the company shared few technical details and offered no independent testing to back up its claims.

Donut Labs said its battery could deliver 400 Wh/kg energy density, charge in five minutes, and last for up to 100,000 charge cycles, but these claims remain unverified.
