The first module is set to become fully operational by 2028, allowing for an overlap in active space stations before the ISS is retired in 2030. This accelerated schedule is supported by Vast’s substantial private funding and experience gained from developing and operating Haven-1.

By 2032, Haven-2 aims to exceed the ISS in size, advanced research capabilities, and cost-effectiveness.
