The Huajiang Canyon World’s Tallest Bridge in Guizhou, southwest China, passed a major load test on August 25, 2025.
A total of 96 heavy trucks, weighing 3,300 tons in total, drove onto the bridge during the test. The bridge is expected to open later this year.
It is one of several massive record-setting bridges China plans to open in the coming years.
