Xiaomi has unveiled the Vision Gran Turismo EV, its first hypercar concept created from scratch.
The design focuses on smart aerodynamics, built-in AI systems, and a unique “Sofa Racer” cockpit layout. A full-scale model is currently on display at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona.

Shaped by airflow, every curve of the car is made to cut through the air as smoothly as possible. It’s a glimpse into the future of high-performance driving.
At the core of the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo is a key question every hypercar faces: should it reduce drag for higher top speed, or increase downforce for better cornering? Xiaomi’s answer is balance. Instead of focusing only on one extreme, the team aimed for overall aerodynamic efficiency, especially important for an electric hypercar.

From the side, the cockpit looks like a teardrop, one of the most aerodynamic shapes in nature. Each surface is carefully designed to guide air smoothly around the car. The body features sculpted openings and air channels that surround the teardrop cabin and direct airflow through the vehicle.

Air enters from the front, moves along these channels, and exits cleanly at the back, following the natural path of the wind.
