The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles just reopened following an extensive renovation, and has become most contentious piece of urban design.
The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, features a new wavy aluminium facade designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox.

The interior of the museum was updated by the local studio The Scenic Route.
Terry Karges, the museum’s executive director, said:
“I am proud to announce that the new Petersen Automotive Museum is open on schedule, on budget and with interior and exterior designs that are even more stunning then the concept renderings – and that is a rare feat in both the architecture and museum worlds.”
