38-foot-tall Whale made of Plastic Waste

A 38-foot-tall whale created from 5 tons of plastic waste surfaces in Bruges.

Brooklyn-based architecture and design firm STUDIOKCA designed a 38-foot-tall whale made by five tons of plastic pulled from the oceans.

The studio, led by Jason Klimoski and Lesley Chang created Skyscraper  plastic whale, in response to the Bruges Triennial‘s 2018 theme “Liquid City.”

We pulled  of plastic out of the ocean to build a 4 story tall whale out of it, in order to call attention to the other 149,999,995 tons of plastic waste still swimming out there
