NASA just revealed concept images of all-electric X-57 in final configuration.
NASA is developing electric-powered flight with the X-57 Maxwell, a unique all-electric aircraft which features 14 propellers along its wing.
This is the fuselage of NASA Future X-57 Maxwell all-electric aircraft.
NASA’s X-57 Maxwell, the agency’s first all-electric X-plane, is delivered to NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California, in its Mod II configuration.
NASA is testing new propulsion technology, using an experimental airplane now designated the X-57 and nicknamed “Maxwell.”
