For our return to the Moon, astronauts to wear spacesuits created with Prada’s help.
The new Axiom Space’s Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit (AxEMU) spacesuit will be used for NASA’s Artemis III mission. They partnered with Prada to design the suit.

It’s been more than 50 years since humans last set foot on the lunar surface.
NASA’s 2026 Artemis III mission to the Moon needs new spacesuits, which are vital for its success. Axiom Space, responsible for creating the suits for moonwalks, is partnering with the Italian fashion brand Prada to bring their expertise to the design.

Prada has “expertise on high-performance materials, features, and sewing techniques,” that are critical to the new spacesuit.
