The Airbus’s CityAirbus electric air taxi eVTOL aircraft has completed its first takeoff, marking the official start of its flight-test program.
Airbus, the world’s largest airplane manufacturer, also leads an electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) initiative.

Earlier this year, CityAirbus opened a 10,700-square-foot test facility in Donauwörth, where it also develops and builds the H135 and H145 light utility helicopters.

Airbus Helicopters CEO Bruno Even announced X:
