A design company based in New Delhi created a genius air conditioner that works without electricity.
Ant Studio and Deki Electronics, both based in India’s capital, built a structure, liking like a modern art installation, that cools the air without the use of electricity.
The team bonded hundreds of terracotta clay tubes, creating the ‘Beehive.’
Monish Siripurapu, founder of Ant Studio, said:
“As an architect, I wanted to find a solution that is ecological and artistic, and at the same time evolves traditional craft methods.”
