Honda unveils at CES a self-balancing motorcycle, that can follow you around.
In a global debut at CES, Honda unveiled its Riding Assist technology, which leverages Honda’s robotics technology to create a self-balancing motorcycle that greatly reduces the possibility of falling over while the motorcycle is at rest.
Honda’s global president of R&D, Yoshiyuki Matsumoto, said:
“This Riding Assist does not use large gyroscopes, which would add a lot of weight and limit the bike’s ability to maneuver. It leverages Honda Robotics technology originally developed for the UNI-CUB.”

The self balancing motorcycle would have been better displayed with the rider standing on one foot-peg instead of two. I can balance my FLT standing on two pegs while standing still.
