'Injectable Bandage' could stop Internal Bleeding

Scientists created an ‘injectable bandage‘ that could stop internal bleeding in just a few minutes.

Researchers invented an ‘injectable bandage’ made out of nanoparticles and food ingredient, that stops bleeding unexpectedly fast.

The team writes in their published study:

“Injectable hydrogels are promising materials for internal injuries and bleeding, as these biomaterials can be introduced into a wound site using minimally invasive approaches.

The injectable gels can be physically crosslinked in presence of monovalent ions to form mechanically strong hydrogels.”
