The Nikola One electric semi-truck, charges the batteries by a natural gas-powered turbine, offers 30% more cabin space and a panoramic driving position.
The electric vehicle industry Nikola Motor Company, created a 2,000-horsepower, 6×6 all-wheel drive semi-truck, providing a range of 800-1,200 miles.

Without a heavy, noisy, cumbersome diesel engine in the front of the vehicle, Nikola was able to move the driver forward, add a panoramic windshield, and give the driver better visibility from more angles. This means safer driving, better visibility and less accidents.
Nikola has lowered the center of gravity by removing the diesel engine, transmission, emissions equipment and installing batteries, electric motors and a turbine below the frame rail.
Nikola One trucks charge on their own primarily through the sophisticated, hi-tech natural gas turbine. The turbine kicks on whenever energy is needed and shuts off automatically. Drivers never need to worry about plugging in or waiting!
The range of a Nikola One is 800 – 1,200 miles between fill ups of natural gas depending on terrain and load. That means a driver can take a cross country trip and make only a few stops along the way. Typical filling times range from 15 – 20 minutes, just enough time to grab a drink or a bite to eat, and then get back on the road.
