SpaceX's Starship Rocket

SpaceX‘s Starship rocket successfully launched from Texas on Saturday morning and then was intentionally destroyed.

SpaceX’s unmanned Starship giant spacecraft, the largest and most powerful ever built, developed to carry astronauts to the Moon and Mars, reached space for the first time, but the attempt failed 10 minutes later.

It was the second attempt, after the explosion that occurred in the first attempt to achieve space flight.

The two-story rocket carrier blasted off from SpaceX’s Starbase launch pad near Boca Chica, Texas, during a scheduled 90-minute space flight.

Data transfer communication from the spacecraft was lost about 10 minutes after launch.

“We’ve lost the data from the second stage … we think it’s possible we’ve lost the second stage,” SpaceX live host John Innsprucker said.
