Porsche Taycan Turbo GT, the most powerful series-production of the German manufacturer of all time sets record lap times at Laguna Seca and the Nürburgring.
Porsche is introducing two new versions of its electric sports sedan, the Taycan Turbo GT and the Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach package. These models are tailored for track performance, sacrificing rear seats for an improved power-to-weight ratio.

Both variants boast over 1,100 PS of peak power. Combined with lightweight construction and aerodynamic enhancements, they redefine driving dynamics in the all-electric GT segment. The rear axle features a more powerful and efficient pulse inverter utilizing silicon carbide semiconductor material.

Model Line Vice President Kevin Giek, said:
“The two records in Laguna Seca and on the Nordschleife show what great track potential there is in the Taycan. To prove your mettle on the track, it’s not enough to simply have as much power as possible. The overall package of accelerating and braking, cornering grip, aerodynamics, stability and fine-tuning has to be right. In the Taycan Turbo GT and the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package in particular, our engineers have achieved this in absolutely stunning fashion. They have already done a great job with the recently updated existing Taycan models. But our new GT cars yet again clearly raise the bar even higher in terms of driving dynamics.”

Expect the first deliveries of the Taycan Turbo GT series to commence this spring, setting new standards in performance and handling.
