‘We no longer have Time.’ Climate activist Greta Thunberg is the youngest TIME’s Person of the Year ever.
Every year since 1927, TIME magazine has chosen one person or group, that “for better or for worse… has done the most to influence the events of the year.”
This year 16-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, named TIME’s Person of the Year, for her role on our planet’s climate change.
Thunberg told TIME:
“We can’t just continue living as if there was no tomorrow, because there is a tomorrow. That is all we are saying.”
