World’s largest prime number has 23 million digits, created after a 14-year search.
Electrical engineer Jonathan Pace after 14 years search, finds the world’s largest prime with more than 23 million digits and will receive a £2,200 reward for his find.
The new prime number M77232917, has 23,249,425 digits.
His computer took six days to calculate the new record number.
Prime, a number which is greater than one and only divisible by one and itself.
